6.4km walk.

the scout activity for June was kicked off with a 6.4km walk which involved 12 scouters from Maktab Sains PSBS scout troop. This activity was held at the vicinity of the Stadium Hassanal Bolkiah, scouters were led along a specific route where all scouters managed to complete the whole walk in the time given.

bowling.

On the morning of 13th May 2012, members of the Scout Troop 1017 held a bowling activity which was part of the conditions to those who are currently working to get their Anugerah Pengakap Remaja which is required for the scouters if they would like to continue to get the Pengakap Sultan which is the highest rank for the scouts in Brunei. This activity involved 23 scouters from Troop 1017 which was held at Megastike Bowling Centre at The Airport Mall.

Charity at Serasa.

On 29th January 2012, scouts mainly from PDSM Secondary School and Awag Semaun Secondary School. Not to forget Maktab Sains PSBS SCouts troops were invited to help in the Charity Activity held at Serasa where activity like abseiling, flying fox and kayaking were organize for the public, where they have to pay which goes into the donation box for the flood victims in Thailand and Cambodia. thanks to those who came to support and help out, May Allah reserve a place for you in heaven close to Him, insya Allah.

second scout meeting.

Second scout meeting for this year was held on the 27th January 2012. This meeting was more concentrated on briefing the new scouts members who weren't able to attend the first scout meeting to unavoidable circumstances. The meeting was divided into two parts, whereby the new scouts were given the base-to-base activity where the move from one abs to another where they're taught basic scout knowledge like the scout orders, customs, history and uniform. While the old scouts were given the opportunity to learn new scouts games and taught songs that scouts usually sang during camps and ceremonies while also include yells.

the first scout meeting held at the memorable Friday of 13th January 2012 to kickstart this year scouts activities. We are proud to welcome the new members from each respective levels. The new scout members were brief regarding their responsibility as a scout member and taught the basic scout principles which they need to know to get the world scout bureau membership. While new scout members were briefed, the old scouts members were broken into two parts, where the ventures were given the task to organize the activities planned up throughout this year, boy scouts members were asked to give ideas on activities they'd like to have this year.
